Somerset born and bred, Vanessa commenced work with Berry, Redmond & Robinson (then Gardner & Berry) in 1980 as secretary to the now Winscombe branch Partner, Roger Burdock. She thus has had experience in all aspects of legal work. Vanessa established herself as a very conscientious and hardworking member of staff and is now employed as a fee earner dealing with conveyancing, probate and wills.

She has recently completed her ILEX level 3 examinations successfully and has also recently been awarded Professional Higher Diplomas in Probate and Succession and Probate Practice. She is currently studying a further two law subjects with a view to taking examinations next June to enable her to become a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.

She has a partner and they have two sons. She is a keen horse rider.
