A native of Weston-super-Mare, Karen has had experience in legal practice and in particular Residential Conveyancing spanning more than 20 years. She is currently studying in Bristol and is planning to progress beyond her current qualifications from the Institute of Legal Executives to qualify as a solicitor over the next couple of years.

Her following extends beyond the office and into the Playhouse, the Winter Gardens and other venues, where she has performed over many years as a soloist in Summer and Winter shows and in operetta and is currently the vocalist with the RAF Association Band for the South West, South Wales and Midlands. Karen lives in Shipham with her husband who is a Criminal Defence Solicitor and her daughter who is studying the clarinet and saxophone at Wells Cathedral School.
