Having completed his articles in Osborne Ward Wassall and Abbott & Co in Bristol, he was admitted to the Legal Profession in 1967 joining Bamber & Stansfield in Chorley Lancashire as an Assistant solicitor. He soon moved to London to gain experience first in commercial work with Associated British Foods and then with Wigram & Co, Mayfair, specialists in commercial conveyancing for developers.

With this experience behind him, Nick moved to Bristol in 1970 to join David Johnstone & Co becoming a Partner in 1971. He remained with the practice for the next 28 years as it grew and metamorphosed into a Limited Liability Company. At this time as well as his legal work he assisted in managing and marketing the company in his capacity as Director and Shareholder.

Wishing to get back to what he does best Nick moved to Berry Redmond & Robinson in 1998 where he took his wide and extensive experience for the benefit of the practice. He is involved principally in conveyancing (both residential and commercial), wills probate and trusts with some general litigation.

Married with 3 grown up children he lives locally. A keen skier and sportsman Nick keeps himself fit by indulging his passion for field sports. Interested in bees, Nick has several hives in the area and keeps family and friends supplied with excellent honey!
