Debbie graduated as a member of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2005 and has worked as a Legal Executive since specializing in Family Law. She has considerable experience in successfully guiding clients through divorce and financial settlements, where possible helping them settle without the need to go to court. Another aspect of her work has been in protecting clients from domestic violence, obtaining injunctions and making applications under the Children Act on behalf of absent parents who wish to reestablish contact with their children, or members of the wider family wishing to become special guardians.

Before embarking on her legal career, Debbie worked for many years in the Hotel and Catering industry, where she held key roles in sales & marketing. She recognizes that this background with its emphasis on customer relations has played a key role in making the transfer to Family Law so successful.

When not helping people resolve their family problems, Debbie spends most of her spare time pursuing her passion in music, writing songs and the occasional children's musical. Her daughter Ellie is similarly interested in music and together they perform at various local music sessions live!
