Having successfully completed her legal studies at Bristol, Ruth first started working for Berry Redmond and Robinson in 1989. She decided to take a career break to concentrate on the growing family and achieved a teaching qualification before returning to the firm in 1998 and qualifying as a solicitor.

Ruth became a partner in 2003 and has become very experienced in many aspects of the law including conveyancing, wills, probate and estate planning and family law, all of which prove invaluable in her work now as the Head of Family Department for Berry Redmond and Robinson.

Working for the family has always been high on her list of priorities and an unfortunate truth is that acting in family disputes will often mean that houses have to be sold, provisions made for children and new wills drafted. Consequently her knowledge of all these areas of law, mean that Ruth is able to act throughout.

Away from the office, Ruth presides over a very busy household but still manages to ride her horses. However for ultimate relaxation, she escapes whenever she can, to warmer climes.
